My Amstrad DRX 890 Sky+ HD box went on the blink.Well actually went dead. I'm big into motorsport and had recorded my cousin Stevie of Eurosport all 4 hrs. I rang Sky they said that because the unit was dead they would have to send an engineer and swap out the box. I didn't want to loose my recordings of the drive so I looked into finding somebody who could recover the recording. I found Digi Repairs UK Ltd and a very helpfull chap there said they could repair the box and that I wouldn't loose the recordings. I booked online on their website www.digirepairs.co.uk about Monday luchtime the box was picked up about 2ish that afternoon and it was returned via courier Friday morning all working and still have my recordings in tact. I think Digi Repairs UK are the only company I could find who actually can repair the Amstrad DRX 890 sky+HD boxes as I rang a few other repair companys and the all said that Digi Repairs UK Ltd were the only company who can repair these new type Sky Hd boxes.
